Presentation of training in aquatic osteopathy France

This training is only accessible:

To DO osteopaths practicing in France.

To 5th year osteopathy students enrolled in a school in France.

Objectives of this training

The objective of this training is to introduce you to aquatic osteopathy, its history, its principles, the physical and physiological laws that govern it, its indications and contraindications, the methodology as well as the theory behind the techniques used. Understand the advantages and disadvantages of aquatic osteopathy compared to traditional osteopathy and acquire the practical foundations of aquatic osteopathy through the teaching of aquatic osteopathy techniques.

It is also about knowing how to react to “aquaphobia” and hysteria, understanding the benefits and knowing how to carry out osteopathic treatment prior to a consultation in aquatic osteopathy. Be able to work in aquatic osteopathy.

Finally, this training also aims to pass on to you my passion for this approach by allowing you to clearly perceive that it is not a question of transposing techniques on the table, to the aquatic environment, but of a concept in its own right including you will be able to experience the effectiveness.

At the end of the training, you will be able to carry out a preliminary treatment and a treatment in aquatic osteopathy.

Why “France” training?

In 15 years of teaching aquatic osteopathy, I have noticed that to master a tool, the best solution is to learn to use it roughly the first time, then to forget the parameters you need. I didn't see the interest in taking up this tool a second time and understanding the subtleties that make it so interesting and powerful.

This is why the training takes place in two three-day seminars 3 months apart for osteopaths practicing in France. However, by opening my training internationally, it is obvious that although this method of learning is in my opinion the most effective, I am obliged to offer, for osteopaths coming from abroad, an alternative to avoid them two round trips over very long distances. This is why there is “France” training and “International” training.
